Santa Barbara start-up company SendMeHome.com-a free Internet-based lost-and-found-launched this week, immediately attracting more than 500 users who registered their personal property and applied tracking numbers to their stuff in hopes that, if lost, someone would return it to them via the Web site. The Indy is part of an ongoing experiment to see if the service works. (/sendmehome)
