This week, Santa Barbara resident Brent Sumner picked up the $25,000 grand prize in Citrix’s GoToMeeting commercial contest. Sumner’s video ad for the online meeting service will also be put in the running for GoToMeeting’s national TV ad campaign.


Westmont College’s Reynolds Gallery was recently awarded a grant to the tune of $113,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The money, which will be matched by the school, will be put toward managing the gallery’s permanent collection. For details, visit
