UCSB Makes Playboy’s Top Party School List

Playboy Magazine ranked UCSB in the top 10 of party schools nationwide, providing the campus accolades that university officials would rather not have. In 2006, UCSB was ranked number two, but had fallen out of Playboy’s annual rankings in the intervening years. In the meantime, new reports indicate that UCSB is also the most sought-after campus in the UC system for incoming freshmen. Fully 41 percent of all applicants listed UCSB as their first choice.
