“A” Student Frozen Yogurt Prize!

Twin Cups the new frozen yogurt bar at 5329 Calle Real has announced that all students (K-12) may purchase any yogurt of their choices for a $ 1.00. To qualify a student needs to present their current report card within 30 days of issuance showing a minimum of (2) A’s or the equivalent “3” or “4”.

A healthy alternative snack that tastes like ice cream is a win-win for local students and parents. A great reward for after school or a weekend sports event. Twin Cups yogurt is 100% fat free, contains live active cultures, adds no artificial sweeteners and is made fresh to order! Students can invent their own blended flavors at Twin Cups with three base flavors of vanilla, tart, and chocolate combined with a variety of fruits ranging from raspberries to mangos.

“This is a great way to promote education with a healthy treat,” said Nathan Carey, owner. “We are constantly asked if we will eventually carry candy toppings”. The answer is NO! With Twin Cups we have made it a goal to promote a healthy treat. Clients are constantly amazed that our frozen yogurt is not ice cream and with the ability to create your own blends from over 10 different fruit selections that can be mixed and matched, there is no need for a less healthy topping.”

Today we had our first report cards presented from Joe and Mayela Rodriguez. Not only did they get the thrill of presenting their report cards and placing an order, their dad (the designated driver) joined in the fun by creating an espresso based yogurt blend.

Twin Cups offers everything for the whole family with a full espresso bar featuring all locally roasted Caribbean Coffee products and pastries provided by Santa Barbara’s Debbie’s Delights.

“This place is amazing you can phone your order in, grab an espresso, a healthy frozen yogurt for the kids or a shake and never have to unload everybody out of the car. It’s perfect for the pre-sports game snack or just quick treat after school while on your way to another activity!” said Alex Rodriguez

Twin Cups is located at 5329 Calle Real be dazzled by our specialty coffee drinks, shakes, or custom frozen yogurt 964-1800.
