Dues Paid for Continuing Ed

Monday, May 16, 2011

In this process I hope you will bear in mind how very beneficial these classes are to so many people. It is not just a “babysitting service for seniors.” For many, going to class is a big part of their well being. The ability to continue learning, to interact with others and to be engaged in life is very meaningful. For some, the skills that they acquire help supplement their incomes. The present cost of going to class is affordable for most people and should stay that way. Most of these “seniors” have worked and payed taxes all their lives; should they not now be able to continue learning and being part of this wonderful community?
