Community Counseling and Education Center Holds its Annual Fundraiser

There is going to be dancing in the streets on Friday, October 14, from 7-11 p.m. when the Community Counseling and Education Center (CCEC) holds its annual fundraiser. This year’s gala theme is Motown and features the funky grooves of Area 51. There will also be food by Opal and a silent auction. The CCEC was founded in 1984 to provide “affordable, bilingual counseling, support groups, and educational classes” to the community by partnering trained graduate student interns with clients. Motown Downtown takes place at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center (1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd.). Tickets are $75 (single), $140 (duo). For more information, call (805) 962-3363 or visit ccecsb.org.
