Here’s what you can do about it.

The 2012-13 Santa Barbara County Civil Grand Jury is now in session. The volunteer grand jurors are impaneled by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court and are sworn to secrecy. If you bring an issue or complaint to the Grand Jury, your communication will be kept confidential.

The Grand Jury investigates, evaluates, and makes recommendations concerning any city or county government and/or any special district. Examples of special districts are cemetery and water.
