Free Christmas Dinner at Veterans Memorial Building

Christmas dinner will be served for free on Thursday at noon at the Veteran’s Memorial Building for the sixth annual community event. On the Italian-themed menu is lasagna, grilled veggies, bread, fresh fruit, smoothies, and a number of desserts. Live music will play and Santa Claus will pass out gifts. On Christmas eve, brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the tree trimming party. Donations of toys and warm clothes — hoodies are requested — can be dropped off at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the memorial building, which is located at 112 Cabrillo Boulevard.
