France is dead. England wants to leave. Germany is holding the EU together at this point. Weird.

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money.
Throw in out of control multi-culturalism and political correctness and you get the current and near future Western Europe.
Take it a few steps further, like 1/3 of voters in SB dream about and you have Venezuela 8 years ago which turns into Venezuela today: paranoid dictocrats shooting poor people while destroying democracy and a functioning capitalist economy.
Go lib-dems, go! You're on a roll!

To borrow from Mark Twain, rumors of France's demise are wildly exaggerated.

Not so much. Traditional France has certainly been compromised by the influx of Muslims; there are actual “no-go” zones in Paris and other major cities, inside of which boundaries one should never venture. The Muslim population in Paris is estimated to be about 15% of the total there. This leads to the theory that France may eventually be called “Frankenstan”, as its present-day “inclusiveness” draws closer to the exclusiveness of the seven other “stan” countries of Afghanistan, Kurdistan, Pakistan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Cry “xenophobe” or “racist” all you want, it’s the revenge of the cradle that’s being perpetrated on Europe. It is the hope of the Muslims that the future population of those babies will avenge the humiliating defeat of Abdul Rahman and his Umayyad army by Charles Martel at the Battle of Tours.

Repetition of discredited Fox "news" garbage about "actual no-go zones," which has now become an article of faith among those who like to scare themselves, and hope to scare others, that nations like "traditional" France will become intolerant islamic states.
And as for the economic issues, France has done better than England in recovering from the recession, in spite of the latter's recent percentage improvement, which results from its starting from a lower baseline caused by the punishing and self-defeating austerity measures beloved by those who like to bash social welfare programs. The latter types will also dismiss the linked chart because it was posted by someone who actually offers facts and data that conflict with their own fact-free ideological posturing http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2015...

NET: "The mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo said that she was bringing the law suit to protect the city’s status as the world’s most popular urban tourist destination.
“I will not accept insults against our city and its people,” she said. “What's in question here is not fun or... a bad joke, it's lies.”
The lawsuit was approved by the left-wing and Green majority on the city council. The centrist and right wing opposition abstained on the grounds that the legal action was largely a mayoral “publicity stunt.”

Seems as if all the conformist-media people can do is condemn Fox News, or any news outlet that doesn't conform to their conformist views, even if that news outlet has the truth: Eerily reminiscent of Orwell's 1984.
Here's another news source about the same "no-go zones" that the PC conformists can condemn:
