Santa Barbara Couple Arrested for Trafficking Heroin

Evidence seized during the arrest of Robert Pilbin and Leslie Brooks

Sheriff’s detectives arrested 58-year-old Robert Pilbin and 56-year-old Leslie Brooks on December 8 for allegedly trafficking heroin in Goleta and Santa Barbara. A search of their home in the 400 block of E. Cota Street turned up 14.7 grams of cocaine, 22.3 grams of brown powder heroin, 15.6 grams of black tar heroin, and 29.4 grams of methamphetamine; $5,000 in cash was also seized. Pilbin and Brooks were booked in County Jail with bail set at $175,000 each.
