Are we still on this tired topic?

PROP 8 PASSED

and all of the wacky challenges created will fail.

Let's move on to clearing up the open races for Tony & Steve here in Santa Barbara.

Jackson - DEMOCRAT, LIBERAL, TAXER - period

Bad for Santa Barbara
Bad for California
Bad for progress
Bad for REAL change

Plan for Tony to be victorious and help in paving the way to energy independence, tax incentives and other worthwhile ways to turn this BLUE state around.

Hold your marches.
Sign your virtual pledges.

The measure passed - it is the will of the people (no matter what the margin) and therefore will be enforced.

The proposition will force other states to seriously consider it individually (if they haven't already) vs. being able to say "they did it in California - we can't stop it".

Thanks Gavin for the great "whether you like it or not" - you really help ground a response to the proposition.

On Overpass Standoff Ends Peacefully

... now the craziness is over.

The public has spoken. The word is protected. The insitution is protected and we can now begin the great national mourning for the next 4 years.

I hear Newt will be running the RNC soon... The brand may be temporarily tarnished - but the will is strong and will prevail.

PS - see the trial for the 14 now 15 yr old on trial for stabbing last March

1 > Gangs will be on trial
2 > The police will be on trial - seems like we can't trust them either?
3 > oh yea and the kid thanks to Prop 21 will be tried as an adult

We have gangs. We need to admit it, fix this and create real solutions (including more incarceration) for those that offend. Join a gang - plan to pay the price - if we don't get that message out - we are kidding ourselves.

Next step you see a law enforcement officer - remind him/her how important this is to you.

They may manage it professionally - but they need to stop creating fodder with pics like they posed for above....

(see story on Caruso improvement to Miramar)

Change is coming.
It will be great.

Someone tell Julia it will all be OK?

Since I live just to the WEST of the Miramar - we can't wait for this to happen. It will be OK - just keep saying it.

Aug 6 - next big meeting and we should have this solved.

On Miramar Decision Postponed Until August 6
