Rsparks, the number of times I drink per week depends on the week. And I can't have that much organ damage -- for example, my brain still works well enough to know how to spell "curious."
rblacumbre, you bet I'm good to my dog. He's a perfectly happy, healthy, and intact dog -- unlike most of the nanny state victims around here I didn't have him castrated to please the city.

I probably drink 2-3 times per week, and there's no anxiety or discomfort involved if I can't get a drink. Trust me, I'm not an alcoholic. I just choose not to be inhibited by nanny-state shrieking about how my car will veer into a daycare if I get behind the wheel after drinking a few beers.

No, I'm not an alcoholic. However, when I do drink I'm able to maintain control of my intellect and reflexes, so driving is no problem for me.

Should I also ask him to search my house and shoot my dog? Idiot.

I drove drunk several times this weekend, including through a drunk driving checkpoint. If you are an experienced drinker, you won't be impaired and you aren't a danger to anyone.
In other news, a pedestrian was killed on East Cabrillo this weekend by a sober driver.

The large majority of fatal accidents are caused by sober drivers.

Rsparks, I find it interesting that you hope I die, rather than you hope nobody gets hurt. Are you really so brainwashed on the topic of drunken driving that you hope people die to confirm your beliefs?
Sorry to disappoint you, but I've been driving drunk for years, and I'm not going to kill anyone -- myself or anyone else. I'll bet I'm a safer driver after a few drinks than you are sober.

I'm trying to see if I can keep an account for longer than a week. The Indy seems to delete volcano names as soon as they see them now...

I don't understand all the hatred and name-calling. I am an experienced drinker and and experienced driver. I'm no danger to you or anyone else. I've never received a moving violation or been in a car accident in my life, and I would estimate I drive at "above the legal limit" about 2-3 times per week. Drunk driving just isn't as dangerous as the revenue-collectors (a.k.a the police) would have you believe.
I wonder how many of you zealots whine about the dangers of drunk driving, and then drive around talking on your cell phones and running through crosswalks.

Negro please. You didn't know this woman, so stop pretending that you were affected by her death. People you didn't know die every day -- do you give this speech every time you hear a joke.
Besides, it's no joke -- there are both experienced and inexperienced drunk drivers. I am experienced enough not to be a danger on the road when I do drink and drive.
