Maybe he will just put up gates and block off all access until he gets to develop his own property. It is weird that someone would even wasted their time purchasing a property with pplans to develop it around here anyway.

On Adopt Feral Cats

Umm Nature_ you might consider a name change. You might also consider reading the story. They are not advocating taking cats and dumping them on your farm so calm down there buddy. And try to remember mass murder of any animal species is a sign of a psychological disorder, you might want to get checked. Truth be told if a person has a large property with a rodent issue cats can come in handy. They should know how to deal with feral cats of course and know there is no way to keep any cat from wandering if they have outdoor access. A large warehouse is an okay home for these animals. An enclosed outside sanctuary would be even better. At least they are altered so they arent adding to the problem.

Your cable company knows what channel you are watching too. Are you going to demand they change their technology? Google has probably shared the many appliances you own to their marketing partners if you did any research on them before you purchased them. Your bank or credit card company knows exactly what you buy and where you shop. You can deal with the reality that nobody cares what you are doing and these things are part of modern technology conveniences or you can continue being paranoid that everyone is watching you. Do you really think your life is so interesting that SCE would employ people to find out what appliances you use and what tv station you watch? Delusions of grandeur or what? Like I said it's a free country you can choose to be off the grid if you want.

On Smart Meters Still Riling S.B. Residents

Well my husband had heart palpatations and since the meter was installed they have gone away. Silly me I thought that was the heart medication. The power of the mind is amazing. Some people are so convinced something will make them sick they actually get sick. Did you stop to think your irrational fear of smart meters caused you to freak out so bad you caused the heart palpatations yourself? And precisely how is it that these meters can tell what appliances you are using? Obviously someone has fed you a huge load of something and you ate it up without questioning how ridiculous the claim actually was. Ugh come on people educate yourselves rather than balking at change because it saves a company money. Or get off the grid, the choice is yours.

By constructive and on point you mean agreeing with you.

Bill I was referring to her email rants she felt she needed to send to defend her position rather than doing it here like normal posters. I have to agree others should mind their own business and I would not insert myself into any situation between a mother and child be it positive or negative. I don't want to hear other people's children scream nor do I want to entertain them to keep them happy. I am not sure what is so wrong with that.

Whoa there Marc I'm sure it wasn't a direct attack at any of the long time enviro nuts in the area. I do personally know many on again off again "evironmental activists" around town that pick and choose what they support. I'm sure these are the people the author was refferring to. The "put down" was not baseless that field of public service you are referring to is innundated with flakes pretending to be activists when the mood strikes them.

Why is that banjo? Because you do not believe in religion? Religious extremism has no place in the modern world but religious states seeking a peaceful life should not be placed in the same category as extremism. Freedom of religion should be a worldwide freedom not something that one should need to hide. I do not have religious beliefs personally but I do know many people who are comforted by their religious beliefs. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

DrDan how about the parents take initiative and turn around Harding school. Or the faculty could continue the great work Kingston began. There is absolutely no reason you should attack someone who moved on because you prefer they stay where they were before.
