The education system is the biggest Ponzi scheme going. Ripping off the students, teachers and tax payers. This is just the tip of the ice berg.

On Cabrillo Ball Field Getting Fenced In

BC is right, almost all people leaving bars in this town to drive home are over the legal limit. The problem is huge and ignored because of the tax dollars the city gets from alcohol "pushers." I've personally seen, many times, deputy DA's consume massive amount of beer the drive off. I'm sure the same is true with the police. I was not in favor of prop 19, but given the recent actions of our law enforcement agencies and our city council, I'm voting YES. Far too much time and expense has been diverted from the real safety issues in our city. I'm also voting FOR dispensaries. What kind of country do we live in where our city allows a business one day, then makes up new rules the next day, then tells a business they are in compliance, then changes their mind and tells them they must close down. UNREAL!!!! If they can do this to the dispensaries then start doing it to bars. Plenty of violations there, the first being income tax evasion and money laundering, an accepted "CASH" practice.

Leaky sewage pipes, perhaps from the county owned "Boathouse" building ? Too expensive to test the source? Cover up? From putting my ear to the sand, I here the rent on that building is 20k per month and 10% of the gross. I smell poo and is isn't from dogs.

On The Mystery of Arroyo Burro

In my personal experience of working in non profits for the poor and homeless. It is my observation that many of the "heads" of the non profits actually benefit from keeping these people in their current situation. Without them they wouldn't have their cushy little jobs, perks and inflated salaries. There is a glut of non profits in this town all protecting their turf at any cost. So citizens, beware of these panhandler NFP's, many are more offensive than your friendly neighborhood Dispensary. "Fleecing America"

After watching the city council spending time considering licensing cats, it's obvious they are avoiding the real issues that are escalating in our city, gang violence and rampant alcohol related crimes. Yep this town is going to pot, but not from marijuana. Prescription drugs and alcohol are the "red sweater" approved treatments. Submitted to a drug test you'll find a vast majority of our population is driving around on some kind of pain or "feel" good medications. It's all so laughable. I feel as if live in a cartoon.

What price will my family pay when one of these "illegal drivers" with no insurance injure or kill me while riding my bike to work. 100% it will be a hit and run.
