I don't see anything wrong with the Chumash buying land, it is their right as it is for anyone to buy land. However, they should not be allowed to make it part of their reservation. That is just wrong. If they want to develop the property, let them go through the same process anyone has to. Let them be liable for the same taxes and laws any other investment group is subject to.
