I'm not representing anyone but myself, which is what I was saying. And I totally stand by what I said in the first place. I was just trying to apologize for how I worded it and trying to express that there were probably better ways to have put it.

Man, and just as a final thing. I will 100% say that my initial comment was totally snarky and rude. It came from a level of frustration that wasn't really conducive to a discussion about the things I felt were wrong about the article / show. It was kind of just a jerk comment. It was early and I was just really frustrated with all of this. My bad.

EDIT: steve was still signed in on my account he in no way posted that last comment it was me. I'll repost it now just to make it clear.
Dude, I am not currently in a band. I've been on several tours and I know what it's like to do everything you just said. Not really interested in trading scene cred in order for my opinions on this stuff to matter. I just thought it wasn't exactly a proper account of that show or the over all boys club vibe. sstomoen says most of this better than I can so I'm pretty much going to tap out of this on account of not wanting to get petty and me being a cynical representation of the community at large.

I'm not in a band, purely an attendee so I mean yeah come on out.

Neither the author nor these mentioned bands know a thing about community or DIY music. One thing they do know about is depoliticized patriarchal rockstar attitude shows.
