Babatunde was a friend and mentor to me as a young peace activist. I first met him when he spoke at my high school, then worked with him years later. I was just telling a story about him to a friend the other day. I will miss him terribly.

Dude, I am not currently in a band. I've been on several tours and I know what it's like to do everything you just said. Not really interested in trading scene cred in order for my opinions on this stuff to matter. I just thought it wasn't exactly a proper account of that show or the over all boys club vibe. sstomoen says most of this better than I can so I'm pretty much going to tap out of this on account of not wanting to get petty and me being a cynical representation of the community at large.
