The new gym at Bishop Garcia Diego High School-paid for by an anonymous $3.4-million donation-is scheduled to open 5/2 amid a fanfare of dedication ceremonies. The independent Catholic school now has two gyms, which means no practice time will be lost to theater, dance, or social functions. Another anonymous donation of $750,000 will pay for landscaping the school’s courtyard.
