Company Ordered to Pay for Pollution

On 5/16 Greka Integrated Inc. and Greka Oil and Gas Inc. pleaded no contest to polluting a creek on Zaca Station Road in Los Olivos. The California attorney general’s office charged the company with water pollution after a faulty tank leaked petroleum into the creek. Greka was ordered to pay $17,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, along with a $500 court fine.
