Those planning a road trip this Memorial Day weekend will be shelling out more money than they might want, as Santa Barbara’s gas prices are ranked second highest in the nation by the American Automobile Association. Currently at an average of $3.575 per gallon, Santa Barbara hit its highest-ever price average for regular gas – $3.614 per gallon – on 5/15. The most expensive gas prices – $3.592 per gallon – are currently found in San Francisco.
