Vandenberg Missile Launch Cancelled

Alaskan Technical Anomaly to Blame

A missile interceptor launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base scheduled for Friday morning was declared a “no-test” after there was a target missile anomaly. The Missile Defense Agency is currently investigating how problems at a corresponding Alaskan facility arose and delayed the planned course of action. The launch was originally been scheduled for earlier this week, but was rescheduled because of bad weather in Alaska.
