Micromedics, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota recently purchased Santa Barbara-based Medco, Inc. Founded in 1980, Medco manufactures and distributes over-the-counter ear protection products. “Santa Barbara Medco’s products complement our current product lines,” said Micromedics CEO Curt Miller. Micromedics introduced several high-tech devices used for ear, nose, and throat surgery this year, as well as promoting its Ear Popper, a handheld device used to treat ear pressure.
