New Footbridge in Montecito

A new pedestrian bridge in Montecito opened 9/13, replacing a temporary bridge installed two years ago. The bridge, running parallel to the existing traffic bridge on Santa Rosa Lane, is near the intersection of San Ysidro Road and Santa Rosa Lane, and cost $300,000. Measure D funds and the Safe Routes to School Program paid for the bridge.
