Former Santa Barbara School Board member Lanny Ebenstein prevailed in court on 11/13 in a dispute with his tenants, hormone therapist T.S. Wiley and her family. Ebenstein declined to renew the two-year lease with Wiley, who claimed the eviction was retaliation for complaints about the house’s condition. Though Wiley said moving out quickly would not be possible, Judge William McLafferty ruled in Ebenstein’s favor.
