At its 1/16 meeting, the Montecito Planning Commission reversed an earlier conceptual opinion and voted 4-1 to approve Robert Largura’s plans for his hillside home on Romero Canyon Road in Montecito after the proposal was slightly amended. The project created controversy among neighbors to the Largura lot, who objected that the complex exceeded the limits of development intended for the area.
