Sexual Wisdom for Teens

Responding to high rates of teen promiscuity both locally and nationwide the Academy of Healing Arts for Teens (AHA!) is offering a 10-week program for mature teen girls (ages 14-18) on “developing sexual wisdom.” Facilitated by Jami Faletti, MFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and Dr. Jennifer Freed, who wrote the book Sexual Wisdom, the workshop is a safe place where teens will discuss the values, needs, choices, and realities of sexual decision-making . “The primary purpose of the class is to help teen girls realize that their body is a sacred vessel and that their sexuality is a spiritual treasure,” said Dr. Freed.
