Harvest Time

If you’re a fan of Santa Barbara County wines and enjoy a good time, then mark your calendars. The Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association will hold the 18th Annual Celebration of Harvest on Saturday, October 11, at Rancho Sisquoc Winery from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $65 and available at sbcountywines.com. There are also specially priced tickets for designated drivers ($25) as well as round-trip bus service from Santa Barbara ($25 for bus ride). For those wishing to make it a full weekend of wine tasting, a “vintner’s visa” pass is available for $35 and includes tasting at a dozen participating wineries Friday, October 10, through Monday, October 13. This annual event is always a lot of fun and is a great way to support our wine industry.
