Be Strong, Smart, and Bold

Girls Inc. of Greater S.B.’s Mentoring Program advances the mission of Girls Inc.: to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold by leveraging the power of adult-teen relationships. The program matches teenage girls with adult women from diverse backgrounds, establishing an environment and format to spark girls’ interest in various career and life paths and inspire their confidence in reaching their goals. Become a mentor and help increase girls’ sense of self-worth, improve their perspective toward education, explore future career opportunities, and provide them with positive support and encouragement that is so necessary during their teen years. The next scheduled mentor meeting will be Wednesday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. All monthly meetings from December 2008 through June 2009 will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
