S.B. LOVE: The Independent‘s Associate Production Manager, Sarah Wilkinson, had her perfect hometown wedding on September 13, 2008. She grew up here, met her sweetie Damon Taugher in high school, and married him in a beautiful outdoor wedding at Godric Grove in Elings Park.
He grew up nearby, so the site held special significance. It was a foggy day, but the sun broke through the clouds just before the ceremony, and the celebration went into the evening, backdropped by a beautiful sunset and hilltop views. Creating floral arrangements and decor, and even cupcake decorating, were intimate experiences shared with friends and family. The important part for the couple was making their declaration of love and commitment before their community.
