As a teenager, living in a world with pressure to fit in, I find it difficult to watch a movie with smoking in it. I feel that seeing smoking on the big screen glamorizes it and its effects. In the movie Avatar, we see a scientist, under a lot of stress to make the avatars move from their home environment. She uses cigarettes to try and relax herself. In reality, there are various healthy ways to achieve a high level of relaxation. I feel that filmmakers should not use any type of tobacco product for entertainment. I know that I can enjoy a movie without seeing tobacco products on the big screen, and it would not affect the quality of the film. — Concepcion Vico
