“Ya gotta dance with them that brung ya!”
How many of you were aware that Paula Perrotte (candidate for the Goleta City Council) has received $7,500 from the owner of the South Coast Inn (Dean Pananidese) to maintain his solitary stranglehold on the building of hotels in Goleta.
Do any of you see the faintest hint of democracy in this? The same hotelier bought two members of the city council two years ago. If Miss Perrotte gets elected you can be sure that we will have a replay of the bad old days of the Hawxhurst era.
I wonder who the Independent will support this time around?
