What’s Up, Watson?

I follow politics very closely. In the race for the 23rd Congressional district, Republican candidate for Congress Tom Watson has often said he’s “not a politician” and has never run for anything.

After reading your recent story revealing that Mr. Watson has repeatedly sought exclusive government funding for his own company, while simultaneously decrying government spending, I think that he certainly is your typical politician. He has one standard for himself, and a different standard for everyone else.

If he thinks that the government should cut spending, maybe he should give back all of government funding awarded to his company.

I hope that Mr. Watson explains this double standard to the public.
