Contemporary Arts Forum Hosts Issue-Driven Contemporary Art Show Focusing on Net Neutrality

Super Santa Barbara is a series of independently organized, issue-driven contemporary art exhibitions. The exhibition will be on view January 6 – 23, 2011, at the Contemporary Arts Forum.

Super Santa Barbara 2 will focus on the under-publicized issue of Net Neutrality and how it’s absence/presence relates to the future of our community. Participating artists include Tristan Blodgett, Alejandro Casazi, Laura Devendorf, Stephanie Dotson, Angus Forbes, Kimberly Hahn, Robert Heckes, Saul Gray-Hildenbrand, Jake Montefu, Jason Sober, Steven Soria, Kat Trajano, Jonny Troyna, and James Van Arsdale. Organized and curated by Warren Schultheis.

Local thinker, blogger, anthropologist, Bruce Caron, will also deliver a short talk on Network Neutrality (before the reception) with a Q & A session afterwards. Literature and other materials will be available at exhibition.
