Westmont College’s men sustained their first basketball setback of the year in overtime to Cal State San Bernardino. And in the first round of the CIF football playoffs, Carpinteria fell in overtime, 28-21, to Cantwell Sacred Heart; Dos Pueblos lost 23-22 to Camarillo; and Bishop Diego was routed 48-17 by Sierra Canyon. SBCC’s soccer teams advanced in the State Regionals, the men defeating Hancock 2-1 on Kalum Horne’s two goals in the last three minutes, and the women pounding Moorpark 7-1 with Jessica Domenichelli scoring four goals.
