City Parking Lot 10, located on the corner of Ortega and Anacapa streets, is closed until the end of April as it undergoes seismic upgrades. The four-story, 546-space garage was built in 1989 at a cost of $4.8 million. Crews are reportedly strengthening the connections between the lot’s beams and columns to withstand a sizeable earthquake. Once work on Lot 10 is completed, retrofits will be made to the Lobero lot over a period of three to four weeks.
