S.B. Jurors to Serve in Ventura Hate Crime Murder Trial

Wed Apr 06, 2011 | 03:00pm

Brandon McInerney, accused of killing 15-year-old classmate Larry King during school in February 2008, will have a jury of Santa Barbara residents decide his fate. Because of attention the case has received in Ventura County, the jury will be selected out of county when the trial gets underway next month. McInerney is charged with murder and a hate crime because King was gay. The jury will be selected in Santa Barbara, while the trial will take place in Ventura.
