How much do you love your mom? Well, the S.B. Botanic Garden (SBBG) wants to know. The SBBG is having a Mother’s Day essay contest, and the winner receives a Garden Prize Package for two. The package includes a one-year membership for you and your mom; lunch for two from South Coast Deli; a box of chocolates from Patchi Chocolates; two one-gallon plants from the Garden Growers Nursery; and a pair of pearl earrings from Patco Jewelers. To enter, submit an essay of 100 words or less and a photo of you and your mom. Open to members and nonmembers of the SBBG. Deadline for entries is Sunday, May 1.
