WE’RE GONNA MISS YOU: After 22 years at The Santa Barbara Independent, longtime sales-team member Tom Morey has retired. Tom started his career at the paper as a classified representative, later becoming a display rep and overseeing the sales department. An artist by nature, Tom quickly became involved with the arts community of Santa Barbara and developed longstanding relationships with many organizations, which are still clients to this day. We appreciate the more than two decades we were fortunate enough to work with him. Tom has been a wonderful colleague and is a true treasure to us all.
