What happened to the cartoon strip Tom Tommorow, one of the most beloved features of The Santa Barbara Independent? I certainly hope that it wasn’t due to pressure of a political nature. Please advise, or, better yet, bring Tom back! (I can see the bumper stickers now!) – W.H. Edgar, S.B.

The first thing that I do after picking up your paper is to troll through the pages to find where Tom Tomorrow is hiding. It was most disappointing this morning to find an imposter there instead. I very much hope that this can be rectified in your next issue. – Bill Dietsch, S.B.
