I’m very unhappy to see the calendar pages’ new format, which is harder to read and leaves out so much. It is very inconvenient to have to go online and search for things and not be able to get a quick overview of the coming events. Please go back to the old format. -Barbara Palmer

Count me in as a hater. Dislike not having everything there in print – why pick up the print copy these days? When I’m wanting a quick look at what’s going on, the print calendar doesn’t tell me enough, and when I’m out and about I’m not going to go to the computer to made a decision.

It’s also really difficult to read. I want to know quickly what’s going on, and the big headline-soundbyte is confusing, because it doesn’t really say what the event is. I’m not going to focus in on events because I see “wave porn” and “good things” and “rock stars”. I’m going to check out an event because it says things like theater, music, art…

I’m often in support of change, but not this one. -Nancy Friedland

Please, please, please discontinue the horribly offending graphics overload that has obscured and replaced real information in The Week. I hope it is not the doing of a single writer who gave you a horrible idea, but the print version’s new incarnation that includes – no, is dominated by – over-the-top graphics REALLY SUCKS!!!!! Been here for 36 years, and this is the worst thing I’ve ever seen from your very fine publication. Please discontinue ASAP.

It really sucks. -Robert Zahuta
