Even still, few have championed the celebration more than Managing Editor Michelle Drown. With roots in the Connor clan — and a lover of all things Emerald Isle — Drown has single-handedly researched, written, and compiled the vignettes that make up this week’s cover story. In between it all, she’s stayed plenty busy organizing The Independent’s 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Stroll, which promises to be our biggest and best yet.
