For the past five years, St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley has hosted a fair for the public. The event, known as May Faire, not only “celebrates the spring season” but is also a fundraiser for the church’s preschool. This year’s event includes a traditional Maypole dance, crafts, games, a kids’ bounce house, a bazaar, and live music performed by the Santa Ynez Valley Chorale, with violin players from the Solvang Conservatory, and the classic rock band Bone Dog. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including wine from Coghlan Vineyard and beer from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company.
