A “prolific” burglar was arrested on the 600 block of State Street last Friday for allededly robbing the Eco Friendly Cleaners on West Canon Perdido Street eight days previously. According to the Santa Barbara Police, Jeffrey Allen Wojciechokwski, 50, is suspected of breaking into the cleaners on November 8 and stealing $85 in cash from one of the registers. Based on video surveillance and a recent arrest for probation violation, the police were able to determine that Wojciechokwski was the prime suspect, and upon finding him downtown on November 16, took him into custody for burglary.
