In the last meeting for trustees Susan Christol Deacon and Annette Cordero, the Santa Barbara school board approved Superintendent David Cash’s Strategic Plan. The document, which went through five revisions with input from both the public and a task force, sets discrete if ambitious goals for the next three years. It addresses college- and career-readiness, family and community engagement, organizational transformation, and facilities. The latest draft is available on the district’s website.
