The Board of Supervisors voted to affirm a policy framework on immigration reform outlined by the National Association of Counties. Agreeing the current immigration system was broken, 1st District Supervisor Salud Carbajal and 4th District Supervisor Peter Adam came together to sponsor the item, which passed on a 4-0-1 vote, with 5th District Supervisor Steve Lavagnino abstaining.
