A man was found dead near the Dolphin Fountain at the base of Stearns Wharf this morning, according to police.
Sgt. Riley Harwood said police received a call at 6:11 a.m. and arrived to find a 57-year-old man in the bushes that line the bike path to the west of the fountain. He was declared dead at the scene. Harwood said there were no signs of foul play and that the man — possibly homeless — may have been camping there.
