“Now there are more hours for you to love Art From Scrap. We’re excited that people can now come in after school or work to shop.” says Art From Scrap Reuse Programs Director Tara Patrick. “The Art From Scrap store provides our local community with an alternative to chain stores. We are open to the public and offer a wide variety of items – like art, sewing and hardware supplies- for all age groups. We focus on providing reusable items to the public that in other circumstances might be considered trash.” Ms. Patrick says, “People feel good about their purchases at Art From Scrap, because shopping here is a fun, environmentally-conscious, unique experience.”

For over twenty years, Art From Scrap has been serving the Santa Barbara community as the place to go for arts and crafts supplies. Filled with items that would have otherwise gone to the Tajiguas Landfill, Art From Scrap is a great resource for teachers, artists and those who want to practice upcycling and reuse. The store sells jewelry, tiles, paper, picture frames, wood, skateboard wheel shavings, fabric, leather… and much much more.

Art From Scrap accepts pre-approved donations from businesses and individuals. If you would like to donate, please contact Tara Patrick at (805) 884-0459 x11. Donations are tax-deductible and support environmental education and related Art From Scrap programs.
