Goleta city councilmember Ed Easton submitted his resignation recently, leaving a vacant council seat. The city is currently accepting applications through Tuesday, June 10, at 5 p.m. You must be 18 years of age, a resident of the City of Goleta, and registered to vote in order to apply. The council will begin the selection process on Thursday, June 12. Applications can be found on the city’s website.
