The three men allegedly stabbed to death by Isla Vista killer Elliot Rodger, 22, were Cheng Yuan Hong, 20; George Chen, 19; and Weihan Wang, 20, according to the Sheriff’s Office. All three men were UCSB students.

Hong and Chen, both from San Jose, were leasing the apartment on the 6500 block of Seville Road in Isla Vista along with Rodger, said Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kelly Hoover. Investigators are still looking into whether Wang, of Fremont, was also a roommate.

Personnel from the Coroner’s Office were seen removing three bodies from the apartment on Saturday afternoon, following Friday evening’s massacre. Rodger is believed to have stabbed the three men multiple times prior to fatally shooting three other UCSB students — Katie Cooper, 22; Veronika Weiss, 19; and Christopher Michaels-Martinez, 20 — in a rampage that started just before 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

In addition to the six killed, Rodger died of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. Thirteen others were injured in the violence, including seven males and females who were treated at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital emergency room for either gunshot wounds or blunt trauma. All are expected to recover.
