Three homeless shelters spread throughout the county will receive a combined $345,000 through June 2015. The money will be divided between Bridgehouse Homeless Shelter in Lompoc ($92,868), Casa Esperanza in Santa Barbara ($110,710), and Santa Maria’s emergency shelter ($141,422) to provide over the next fiscal year at least a combined 86,000 bed nights, roughly the same number offered in 2013-2014. The Board of Supervisors approved allocating the money at its budget discussions in June.
